For National Burrito Day I decided to go to Cali Tacos and get the Angel Burrito it comes with Shrimp I substituted with Carne Asada. Now the burritos is huge I only ate half. Now since I took it to go. I heated it up on a pan to make the tortilla crunchy I give it at 8.5/10 The only reason I didn’t rate it higher I know it will taste better if I ate it there.

Had to try their California Burrito since that’s what they’re known for, and let me tell you, it was absolutely fire. The crunch from the fries was spot on, and the salsa and sour cream were perfectly balanced, adding just the right amount of flavor without overpowering everything. The carne asada was packed with flavor, and you could really taste the marinade even through all the other ingredients, which was a huge plus. Ya gotta get it to try it for yourself. The food came out super fast, which I appreciated, but I have to say, the woman at the register wasn’t the friendliest, pretty cold and not very welcoming. It would help if they had someone more customer-focused up front, especially since I wanted to ask about other menu items but didn’t really feel comfortable doing so. That being said, the food delivered- and that’s what matters most! The inside is extremely small and has like 3 tables, but the outside seating has plenty of tables! I was also happy to see they had horchata, not homemade, but still pretty good, and getting three refills was a nice bonus. The little salsa and toppings bar was solid, and I highly recommend the verde salsa. It had the perfect kick and a nice zestiness to it. Despite the service, the food speaks for itself, and I’d come back. If you’re looking for a solid California Burrito, this place is worth a visit!

New find I wish I found sooner! Tacos and burritos are delicious and very reasonably priced for what you get. Atmosphere is outside benches. Not bad but not 5 stars. We'll keep going back and bringing new friends with us!

Really good food, like really good... And the portion sizes are amazing. Not cheap, not expensive, but still a great value for how much food you get. The lines outside kind of say at all. I challenge you to eat more than two of their tacos without feeling overly full. Best Carnitas Tacos and best fish tacos I’ve had in a long long time. And the Cali burrito - no beans or rice and so so good!

My husband and I tried their Angel burrito and it was a huge burrito for such a good price! I didn't realize it was a monster of a burrito when I ordered it. It's also so delicious with meat and shrimp combo. Service was good, they got my order correct when there were a few changes on toppings to my order. Their rice and beans were made perfectly as well. Highly recommend!

Cal Taco is absolutely worth the visit! The food is fresh, flavorful, and always hits the spot. While it does take a little time to get your order, it’s well worth it for the quality and freshness they deliver. There’s no long wait, just the perfect balance of time to ensure everything is made with care. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious food, this is the place!

Came across this place on our way to Vegas and it did not disappoint! The shrimp burrito was the size of my head for only 10.99! Lots of shrimp but wasn’t dispersed evenly so I at most of the shrimp first and the rest was more rice, but I was extremely pleased. Husband had the Cali burrito, also the size of my head, which he enjoyed. Daughter had five rolled tacos with guacamole and cheese. These were amazing! None of these items were consumed in one sitting. The leftovers were a second meal. There is only person taking orders and getting the food ready for you. We took the food to go, but there is an outdoor sitting area that’s covered. Be ready to wait, good food takes time. And it’s worth it!

Can't recommend this place enough. There is really only one order - get a Cali Burrito (whatever meat strikes your fancy but my favorite is carnitas) and put Cali Sauce on every bite. It'll change your life. The only other thing you might consider is the Angel burrito. It's even bigger than the already sizeable Cali Burrito and has shrimp. Every time I'm in California I come here, order a thing of Cali Sauce, and take it home. Wish I had the recipe. In my top two favorite restaurants in the world. Literally. This and Terry Black's BBQ in Dallas. Wish I had a picture of the burrito but I ate it too fast.
